Ramsau am Dachstein is a real paradise for hikers. The sunny plateau offers many really nice walking and hiking paths. In the alps region you can hike to the nice huts and have yourselve pampered with traditional specialities while you enjoy the great view of the surrounding mountains. The Dachstein glacier region has 17 via ferrata and many climbing routs and is very popular with climbers. With one of the mountain guides you are safe on all of your tours.

With the summercard, you can use the hiking buses for free, you can got to the Dachstein glacier for free for one time in seven days, you can use all other cable cars in the region for free and also guided hikes are included in the summercard.

With the Dachstein glacier cable car, you can easily reach the Dachstein glacier on 2700m above the sea. Many great attractions will await you on the top. The new suspension bridge, the “stairway to nothingness”, the Sky walk and the ice palace with its carved ice figures and the great panorama view of the valleys and mountains are always worth a visit!
Very popular is also a sunrise breakfast or a sunset dinner at the Dachstein restaurant.

Not far from Apartment Austria, a real adventure experience awaits you. The Rittisberg with many attractions offers the “Rittisberg coaster” (summer tobogganing), the high ropes course “Forest park”, archery, a segway course and an e-motocross course. Also, there is a swimming lake with volleyball, sliding soccer, trampoline and a mega swing. If you take the chair lift to the top of the Rittisberg (lift is included in the summercard), you will find a barefoot track and you can walk back down on the fairytale walk.  

Not only Mountain bikers, but also those who want to do only a small and easy tour will find a great holiday in Ramsau am Dachstein. Next to the 20 different mountain bike tracks, there is also a 200 km long network for E-bikers with places to rent the e-bikes and places to recherché them. Of course there are also E-bikes for children available.  

Ramsau am Dachstein is the community with most horses in all of Styria. There are two big stables that offer courses for beginners and advanced riders. The children can go pony riding and the adults can relax at a romantic and beautiful ride with a horse-drawn carriage. A big network of riding trails allows many different possibilities for a ride in the nature.  

Runners and Nordic walkers are in best hands in Ramsau am Dachstein, you can choose between many different running and Nordic walking routes. Top athletes as well as beginners will find the perfect track.
